Reel Time Blog Tour
Hi friends! Welcome to my stop on the Reel Time Blog Tour, showing off the new line Zen Chic for Moda Fabrics.
I have been a huge fan of Zen Chic ever since the Comma line was released - the modern and somewhat masculine colors really drew me in. Reel Time is in a similar style and colorway as Comma and would look amazing combined!
When I first saw the line I knew exactly what I wanted to make, a throw quilt for my living room. I decided to leave the orange out and stick with the white, black, gray and greens that are in the line and combine it an Essex linen that worked as a nice neutral to the group.
Any line that combines a fun text print is a favorite of mine. Here you can see how this line - Reel time - was influenced by the film industry as the text print looks like the closing credits in a movie!
I decided to make a throw size quilt, and am waiting until yardage in the green plus design is available to finish it off.
It also looks fantastic next to my Pleather Hexie pillow - you can find the tutorial for that here!
Be sure to check out the other stops along the way on the blog tour, thanks Brigitte for thinking of me for the group - I love your new line!
