WIP Wednesday // Wave Quilt
Hi friends, today I am sharing my progress on my wave quilt. This is a project I am making for an upcoming blog hop with Sizzix and a group of extremely talented quilters. We are all working with the fabi machine and / or the Big Shot Pro, and this will be my very first project with my new Pro machine - I can't tell you how much I love this! I chose one of the new dies by Victoria Findlay Wolfe, who is an insanely talented author and quilter. The wave die is pretty straight forward, but instead of doing the alternating direction wavy line, I decided to go with waves...literally. Keeping the wave die in one direction is making for a fun water design and I finally had a chance to use my Kona cotton Poseidon bundle I have been hoarding for what seems like years.
Here are a few snapshots, and I will share a mini tutorial on the best ways of sewing this quilt top together when my full post goes live on the 17th of this month.
Stop back by on the 17th for the tutorial, to see the finished quilt - still thinking about how I am going to quilt this one, and an amazing chance to win a huge prize!
Thanks for stopping by today friends, I am also linking up with WIP Wednesdays over at Freshly Pieced ...Lee is working on the most adorable Preppy the Whale pattern by Elizabeth Hartman!
