I had the extreme pleasure of meeting Jennifer Sampou
at Fall Quilt Market this year - not only is she just the cutest, she is honestly the nicest person as well. She invited myself and a few other awesome sewing friends to make a project with her new fabric line - Black and White for Robert Kaufman.

So for the project I came up with...
For my quilt I decided to focus on the butterfly element and use an awesome Sizzix die that I have had my eye on - Bigz Die with Texture Fades, Layered Butterfly
. Here are some sneak peeks of my quilt, I will be sharing some more progress shots on Instagram over the next couple of weeks as I finish this up.
This is as far as I got today...decided it would be fun to paint the living room walls white. Ugh I am exhausted now and I am only half finished. More on this quilt this weekend when I get home from my work trip. This quilt will mostly be whole cloth with little piecing but the appliqué part will take the longest...I believe that it will be worth it though!
Linking up with WIP Wednesdays over at Freshly Pieced!
Thanks for stopping by today friends!
