Hi friends! It's been crazy around here since the beginning of the month and I cannot wait to be home on Monday for more than just a couple of days. This next week will be all about catching up on late projects, emails, blog comments and mailing out so many things that are late. Today I wanted to share some projects that I posted on other design blogs for today's Friday Finishes.
First up is a project that I designed for Sizzix - Flower Power Felt Pillow. I had so much fun making this one, it's bright, has my favorite black and white background and uses a new fabric die from Echo Park, Flower #3.
You get three awesome flower shapes from just one die, click here for a link to the Sizzix page. I am looking forward to trying this on heat n bond backed fabric and also paper to make a poinsettia wreath for my front door this Christmas. Felt seems to accumulate in my house from random projects so this was a perfect scrap buster to use up all of my smaller pieces.
Another project that I posted last week is over at The Sewing Rabbit blog and is a fun and fast make - Fabric Spool Keychain. I love this project because it was easy, uses my precious scraps of fabric and makes for an awesome gift for sewing friends!
These also make for cute zipper pulls on your handmade bags by using scraps left over from your bag project.
I also had some other finishes this week....but I can only share a sneek peak. Be sure to stop by on the 24th when I can share the full project!
This weekend also brings some awesome fabric sales - be sure to stop by Ft Worth Fabric Studio for their Markdown Mania!
Thanks for stopping by friends.
