A Quilters Mixology // WIP Wednesday
Hi friends! Today I am sharing a sneak peek of a project that I have been working on for a blog hop later this month. This particular blog hop is a fun one because we are making projects from Angela Pingel's new book, A Quilter's Mixology: Shaking Up Curved Piecing. Curved piecing is a new skill I just recently tried out, and it is totally worth the extra effort - because the blocks are beautiful!
The project that I am making is the Medallion Baby Quilt with some minor modifications to the size. Instead of a baby quilt I am making a mini quilt that I can hang on my wall at home.
A few shortcuts that I have been using are my Sizzix Big Shot & drunkards path dies, along with a great glue basting tip. I will share more about that on the finished project. The fabric that I am using is from Andover - Alison Glass, Handcrafted, a beautiful batik fabric with stunning colors!
Looking forward to sharing the finished quilt and what I learned along the way here in just a few short weeks.
Thanks for stopping by friends! Linking up with Lee over at Freshly Pieced for WIP Wednesdays!
