May the fourth be with you - A Giveaway!

Hi friends! I do not usually have a post on Sundays but today cannot be missed - It's national Star Wars Day! I have always enjoyed Star Wars and am so happy to pass down the love to my little boy, so for today's post I am sharing some Star Wars wallets I made using Noodlehead's Basic Boys Wallet.

This was one of those projects that I pinned forever ago and have always been meaning to do something with (aren't they all?). There is a little boy that lives in our building that has been begging me to make him a wallet since I made his sister one months ago - so today is his lucky day!

This was SO easy to make - and if you are planning on making more than one, make them at the same time because when making this assembly line style it really didn't take any extra time for the second. I made these two well under an hour.

The only differences I made to the pattern was to make one with a kam snap to hold it together. It does make it a little bulky feeling so the second one is without the button. Also I added a layer of Heat n Bond medium interfacing to the two main layers of fabric used.

Since I made two, and my son is a little too young to actually appreciate a wallet I am giving the second one away to one of you!

Just leave a comment saying hi and I will choose a winner on Friday May 9th at 6pm central. This is open to International entries as well - I love my International friends!!

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you will give Noodlehead's pattern a try - it truly is a fun and quick one to make!
