Spooktacular Plus Quilt - Finished!
I am so happy that Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky decided to postpone Halloween until today so that I could finish my Spooktacular Plus Quilt! (I would like to think that anyways...) Finally put the binding on this quilt and I love it so much that I am pretty sure it will be staying out right until the Christmas tree comes out, which much to the dismay of my husband might be next week :)
The fabrics used in this quilt are a large assortment mainly focusing on Spooktacular by Maude Asbury. For a listing of all of the other fabrics you can see my original post here.
We finally had a nice dry day today so into the leaves it went! Love all of the fall photo ops that are right outside my front door.
For the backing I chose a black with orange dot print that I found at JoAnn's Fabric, and a solid black binding.
Thanks to my husband Jerry for holding this up in front of the most perfect orange tree!
I didn't notice until I was looking back over these pictures that the pumpkin my neighbors carved is pretty much identical to the little pumpkins on my fabric...couldn't have planned it any better!
This quilt comes in at 63" x 78" making it a nice size to use in the living room on the couch or to cover my son's full size bed.
Since this was an actual Friday finish I am linking up with Finish it up Friday at Crazy Mom Quilts and my friends over at TGIFF (Thank Goodness it's Finished Friday) hosted by Quilt Matters this week.
Thanks for stopping by friends!
