Penny Stamps Quilt
Well, I finally finished up this one, and it is all thanks to Amanda over at Westwood Acres for getting a fire under my rear!
Not only did I purchase this amazing Fat Eighth stack of Lucky Penny by Alison Glass from her shop, she also sent out a possible prize alert on Instagram for people who finish a WIP by this Saturday. Well gosh darn it, I made it - now my fingers and toes are crossed to win some goodies :)
Like I said this quilt is made from the entire Lucky Penny line by Alison Glass....it is just BEAUTIFUL in person. I swear pictures can do it no justice. I also used Kona White and some very popular Ikea Britten number fabric for the backing. The pattern I used is Postage Stamp Quilt, a tutorial I saw over on Rachel Griffith's blog p.s. I Quilt, forever ago. So for the name I came up with Penny Stamp....get it? Oh I think I might be sleep deprived!
Also linking up with Finish it up Friday over at Crazy Mom Quilts and TGIFF over at Quilter in the Closet. Last Friday finishes of October - wonder how many people are finishing up some Halloween projects at the last minute! (side note, I am wishing one was mine, I am still not finished with my Halloween Quilt, cue violins)
Thanks for stopping by friends!
